Lens Replacement Results
In general, most people want to be less dependent on their spectacles after cataract surgery. As a result, they choose multifocal or accommodating lenses for lens replacement. Multifocal lenses offer greater flexibility, as they allow patients to see at varying distances. Below are the results of our Lens Satisfaction Survey which shows the percentage of time our patients say they require glasses for near, intermediate, and distance vision after surgery.
The chart below shows the improvement in near vision that patients experienced after cataract surgery using ReSTOR, Tecnis, and Crystalens. The results are based on FDA clinical trials.
