Lens Replacement Results

In general, most people want to be less dependent on their spectacles after cataract surgery. As a result, they choose multifocal or accommodating lenses for lens replacement. Multifocal lenses offer greater flexibility, as they allow patients to see at varying distances. Below are the results of our Lens Satisfaction Survey which shows the percentage of time our patients say they require glasses for near, intermediate, and distance vision after surgery.

The image displays a colorful bar graph with percentages indicating the frequency of various activities among different age groups, including children, teenagers, young adults, middle-aged adults, and older adults. It compares how often people in these age groups engage in activities such as watching TV, playing sports, working on a computer, reading books, using smartphones, and wearing eyeglasses. The graph is designed to compare the frequency of these activities across different age groups.

The chart below shows the improvement in near vision that patients experienced after cataract surgery using ReSTOR, Tecnis, and Crystalens. The results are based on FDA clinical trials.

The image displays a poster with text that reads Restor, followed by a list of words including Crystals and Technis and a subtitle stating, Multi-focal IOLs have demonstrated effectiveness in improving near, intermediate and distance vision. Below this, there is information about clinical trials and a statement about the quality of the product. The poster also includes a graphical representation of a lens with the text Crystalline above it.
