Meet Dr. Loeffler
Michael Loeffler, MD is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is widely recognized for his skill in the specialty of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Loeffler graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec with both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. He received his medical degree from McGill University, completing his specialty training in Ophthalmology at McGill University’s Jewish General Hospital. He is Fellowship-trained in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital in New York.
Dr. Loeffler is associated with Broward Health North, a division of Broward Health, as well as the Coral Springs Surgical Center where he performs eye and oculoplastics surgery on a weekly basis.
Dr. Loeffler is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology (Board Certified). He is a Fellow of The American Academy of Ophthalmology, The Royal College of Surgeons (Canada) and the International College of Surgeons. Dr. Loeffler has published and lectured extensively in areas of cataract surgery, as well as general ophthalmology and various other areas of medicine.
Dr. Loeffler is happily married to Sharona, his wife of 31 years. He has two daughters, and one son. Dr. Loeffler loves to golf and travel, visiting his children and sharing family time as often as time permits.
